Please read on for more detailed explanation of the cleaning process…..
Stage 1: Pre Vacuum the Upholstery.
The upholstery is given a very thorough vacuum with a Sebo Dart or a Dyson handheld DC34 animal, both are high quality vacuums. We vacuum to remove dry soil and dust out of the fabric, before for the cleaning process.
Stage 2: Pre Spray the Upholstery.
The upholstery is pre sprayed with an effective micro splitting cleaning solution. The product we use doesn’t contain detergent, optical brighteners, enzymes, solvents or caustic acids. We let this dwell on the upholstery for 5 minutes.
Stage 3: Clean the Upholstery:
The upholstery is cleaned with a citrus pre wash. The cleaning solution is sponged on then gently agitated in with a upholstery brush.
Stage 4: Stain Removal:
The next step is to treat and work on any stubborn stains that hasn’t been removed by the cleaning so far. We have approx. 20-30 cleaning solutions / spot and stain removers on the van. Please note, that even though we have a very high stain removal success rate, it would be wrong of us to 100% guarantee we’d remove every single stain. Though we will try.
Stage 5: Rinse and Extract the Upholstery:
Now it is time to put one of our Airflex Cleaning machines into action. These are top of the range machines, with excellent PSI (water pressure) and twin vacuums. The machines work by injecting fluid onto the material and immediately extracting the fluid and loosened soil.
Stage 6: Specialist Treatments:
This is for customers who want to have their upholstery stain protected or pest/pet treated. Please go to ‘other services’ on the site for further details.
Stage 7: Drying the Upholstery:
On a nice day we will put the non fixed cushions onto a big water proof sheet, outside, to dry quicker. We also have a turbo blower that we can place next to the upholstery to cut the drying time on a bad day.
Why Upholstery Cleaning by proper clean is REALLY good for your furniture:
Unfortunately most furniture gets very little attention over its lifespan… once it is arranged in the living room and admired it is expected to provide constant use.Although your sofa and armchairs are probably the most visible items in the room they are essentially neglected until they are ready for the scrap heap!
You have paid a great deal of money for your upholstery — that is why it is so surprising that the sofa and armchairs, lounger and recliners and dining chairs are not given more care… and its easy. You don’t have to spend a great deal of time and money in upholstery cleaning to make your sofa look good every day and lengthen its life span by quite a few years .
